DANVERS - Mrs. Ada (Hulburt) Elliott 100, of Danvers, beloved wife of the late Cecil Frank Elliott, died January 17, 2020 at Mass General Hospital in Boston, following a brief illness surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Littleton, Maine, she was the daughter of the late James and Etta (London) Hulburt and sister of the late John Hulburt. Their parents died when they were very young and they were raised by their aunt and uncle on a farm in Maine. She was raised and educated in Monticello, Maine. She graduated High School and continued her education at Ricker College, dropping out to marry the love of her life Cecil, to whom she was married to for over 45 years.

Mrs. Elliott had been employed with the former Kings Department Store and Pro Brush Company and worked for many years at the former Syms Department Stores as a Clerk until the time of her retirement.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great, great grandmother, Ada was devoted to her family. She enjoyed being an active member in the foundation of her children and grandchildren and left a lasting impression of love and an ever-present positive attitude on her entire family. She was affable, outgoing and always smiling. She enjoyed reading, knitting and sewing in her free time. She was an avid dancer and cut a rug like no other. She travelled extensively and enjoyed going on cruises and visiting Hawaii. She loved with her whole heart and will be deeply missed and always remembered.

Ada is survived by her daughter, Jean Elliott of Danvers, her son, James Elliott and his wife Anne of Pelham, N.H., her grandchildren, Duane Fuller of Peabody, Dale Fuller of Danvers, Sherry Fuller of Boxford and Kenneth Pitcher of Covington, LA, Bryan Elliott of Wake Forrest, NC, Todd Elliott of Gloucester, Elayna Dabney of Creedmoor, NC, 14 great grandchildren and one great, great grandson and several nieces and nephews.
