DANVERS – Mr. Albert S. Dodge, Jr., 96, of Danvers passed away Saturday, January 22nd, 2022 in Beverly Hospital. He was the husband of the late Winifred Ann (McCann) Dodge, with whom he celebrated 63 years of marriage.

Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Albert S. and Nettie (Grant) Dodge, Sr. Albert attended MIT and went on to become an Engineer for Computer HP, and RCA & Digital. Albert served and was honorably discharged from the United States Airforce. He loved sports, and enjoyed watching his children play them throughout the years, as well as rooting on the Red Sox and Patriots. He also enjoyed spending time at the Danvers Senior Center, and watching a good black and white western film.

Albert is survived by his children; Albert Dodge and his wife, Mary of Danvers, David Dodge and his wife, Katy of North Reading, Dwight Dodge and his husband, Randy Faber of Portland, OR, and Jane Dodge-Marinella and partner, Richard Rubrigi of Ponte Vedra, FL., along with 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

ARRANGEMENTS - Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours at O'Donnell Cremations - Funerals - Celebrations, 167 Maple St., (Rte. 62) DANVERS, Monday, January 31st from 11 A.M. to 12 P.M. (noon) followed by his funeral service at 12 P.M. (noon). Face coverings must be worn in the funeral home.
