Alfred Razzino Obituary

MIDDLETON – Mr. Alfred Peter Razzino, 89, of Middleton, formerly of Malden, beloved husband of Karen (Williams) Razzino died peacefully, Tuesday, July 29th, 2020 at his home.

Born in Malden, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Angelina (Marino) Razzino. He was raised and educated in Malden and was a graduate of Malden High School. He continued his education at Tufts University earning his Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering.

Mr. Razzino was a licensed Professional Engineer (mechanical) by exam. Prior to that he was a welder who worked on The State Street Bank building in Boston.  After earning his engineering degree, he worked for many paper mills and processing plants throughout the United States and has worked for many of the major engineering firms in Boston. Putting his engineering expertise to personal use, he designed and built the house that his family resided in for over 20 years. After early retirement he continued to offer his professional services on residential architectural design while focusing on his family, namely becoming a personal chauffeur to his children and providing much entertainment.

A long-time resident of Malden, Al was an avid tennis player in his younger years and enjoyed taking endless photos to capture family events. He was an enthusiastic fan of the Patriots and Red Sox and enjoyed rooting for them from the “best seat in the house”. Al loved traveling across the country, making three memorable family summer driving trips. In 2013 he and his wife moved to Middleton.  He was very proud of all of his children and their accomplishments and loved spending time with all of them. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle who will be deeply missed.

Al is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Karen Ann (Williams) Razzino of Middleton, his sons, Christopher Razzino Esq. of Bristol, RI and Dr. Richard Razzino and his wife JoAnn of Harrisburg, PA, his daughters, Lisa Jordan and her husband Joseph of Georgetown and Susan Langan and her husband John of Georgetown, his beloved grandchildren, Analise and Jack Jordan, his sister, Gilda Elmstrom and her husband Carl of Middleton and several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Leslie Razzino and brother of the late Joseph Razzino.
