MIDDLETON – Mr. Andy P. Woodbury, 57 of Middleton, passed away peacefully at the Kaplan Family Hospice House with his devoted and loving family by his side.
Born in Beverly, Andy was the son of June G. (Woodbury) Bjornholm and the late Howard F. Bjornholm. Growing up in Danvers, Andy attended Danvers Public Schools and continued his education at the Landmark School in Beverly.
From a young age, Andy learned the value of hard work and determination. Always willing to offer a helping hand, Andy worked alongside family, accomplishing laboring tasks. After high school, he started his career at Burr Industries. He would later learn of the roads, tools, and the many people of Topsfield where he worked as an Equipment Operator for the Topsfield Highway Department, a career he cherished for 35 years. Andy did not consider his profession work; he woke up every day knowing that he was helping people and that brought him great joy.
Andy was extremely generous, kind, gentle and free with his time. If you needed something done, Andy could help you – no questions asked, he was just there. His way about life was truly unique and genuine and he would do anything to make sure others were happy and getting along. He leaves behind his amazing legacy of helping others and being kind. He will be missed by so many.
In addition to his mother, June Bjornholm of Middleton, Andy is survived by his family; sister, Lauria Bjornholm of Amesbury and her daughter, Gabrielle; sister, Debra Fuller and her husband, Leonard of Danvers and their children, Daniel and Heather; brother, Peter Bjornholm and his wife, Maria of Plaistow, NH; brother, David Bjornholm of Barefoot Bay, FL; and sister, Karen Bjornholm Johnston of Leonardtown, MD and her children, Daniel, Benjamin and Abigail; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and extend family members.
