Ann M. (Drinkwater) Llewellyn

DANVERS – Mrs. Ann M. (Drinkwater) Llewellyn, 79 of Danvers, loving wife of the late Michael L. Llewellyn, Sr., passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on Monday, November 6th, 2023 at the Masconomet Healthcare Center in Topsfield.

Born in Brewer, Maine, Ann was the daughter of the late Edward and Eleanor (Youmans) Drinkwater. She graduated from Brewer High School in 1962 and received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Northeastern University.

As a mother, Ann was a devoted stay-at-home mom for her two sons during their childhood years. Her love and compassion will never be forgotten by Michael and Mark. As a grandmother, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was an avid reader and always enjoyed traveling with her husband Mike before his passing in 2007. After living in Danvers, MA for over 20 years, they traveled the country in their RV before eventually settling in Florida. After falling ill, she moved back to Danvers in 2019.

Ann is survived by her sons, Mark Llewellyn and his wife, Lisa of Danvers and Michael Llewellyn and his wife, Kimberly of New Port Richey, FL; her beloved grandchildren, Meagan, Hannah, Luke and Andrew Llewellyn and siblings, David Drinkwater and his wife, Diane of FL and Wayne Drinkwater of OR. Ann was predeceased by her parents, husband and sister-in-law, Jennifer Drinkwater.

The family would like to thank everyone at Brightview Senior Living, and Masconomet Healthcare Center for the compassion and tremendous care she received. Emma Dalton of Masconomet was someone Ann had a special connection with and loved. Also, a special thank you to Lisa Llewellyn who became her greatest advocate and friend during her final years.  

ARRANGEMENTS: A celebration of Ann’s life will be privately held in the summer of 2024.
