DANVERS – Miss Ann E. Wallis 74, of Danvers, passed peacefully June 2, 2021 at Beverly Hospital.
Born in Beverly, she was the daughter of Ruth (Standley) Wallis and the late Frederick S. Wallis. She was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of Danvers High School. During her high school years, Ann was employed as a Nurse Assistant.
Miss Wallis had been employed in the retail industry having been associated with Macy’s and Jordan Marsh until the time of her retirement.
A loving and devoted daughter, Ann loved her family deeply. She was truly a homebody. She enjoyed time spent in her yard and was always a gracious neighbor. A longtime devoted member of the Maple Street Congregational Church in Danvers, Ann was a voracious reader and devoted her life to her family. She was especially close to her parents, having been their caregiver for many years. She was a kind person who will be deeply missed.
Ann is survived by her loving mother, Ruth (Standley) Wallis of Danvers and her neighbor and friend, Mark Dabrieo and family.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service which will be held graveside at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, 185 Lake St., Peabody, Tuesday, June 8th at 11 A.M.
