Born in Beverly, she was the daughter of Ruth (Standley) Wallis and the late Frederick S. Wallis. She was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of Danvers High School. During her high school years, Ann was employed as a Nurse Assistant.

Miss Wallis had been employed in the retail industry having been associated with Macy’s and Jordan Marsh until the time of her retirement.

A loving and devoted daughter, Ann loved her family deeply. She was truly a homebody. She enjoyed time spent in her yard and was always a gracious neighbor. A longtime devoted member of the Maple Street Congregational Church in Danvers, Ann was a voracious reader and devoted her life to her family.
