BEVERLY – Mr. Ariel G. Jaen Troya, 58 of Beverly, loving husband of Maria E. Tejada Jaen passed away peacefully after a strong and courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Panama City, Panama, Ariel was the son of the late Gertrudis Jaen and Izabel Troya Jaen. He was raised and educated in Panama, living in Central America until his move to the United States on his birth day in 2014.
Ariel was a man who worked hard for his family, supporting his home. He was kindhearted, meeting many different people, socializing the best way he knew how, with a smile and kindness. He was hard working and loved helping others. Since his move to the United States, Ariel worked as a cook for Toscana’s Bar Italiano as well as Frank Restaurant in Beverly. Growing up in Central America, Ariel loved Beverly and truly embraced the New England experience. He was extremely strong minded, positive and determined. He looked at his diagnosis in a positive light, never losing hope or faith. His strong character reflected in the man he was and he will be so deeply missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his wife Maria, Ariel is survived by his son, Ariel Jaen and his step-son, Marcos Mow; his grandchildren, Naomy, Nicholas and Marlenny Mow and many extended family members in Panama.
