MARBLEHEAD- Mrs. Barbara (Peterson) Schulte 85 of Marblehead, beloved wife of the late George A. Schulte formally of East Hampton, NY, died peacefully Saturday evening, June 22nd, 2013. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Frank T. and Jane (Stanton) Peterson. She was raised and educated in Brooklyn and attended Art School in New York City. A loving and dedicated wife and mother, Barbara had a passion for antiques, loved to travel abroad and enjoyed cooking and swimming. She became known as "the lady in red" her favorite color. She was loved deeply and will be missed by all who knew her. Barbara is survived by her daughters, Melissa S. Nathan of Danvers and Megan Tierney of Novato, California, her step son Joseph William Schulte of Austin, Texas, son in law Scott Nathan of Danvers, her grandchildren, Hannah Tierney, Jacob and Zachary Nathan, her brother, Frank "Tim" Peterson II of Ashville, N.C, and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Ellie VonGerichten.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service will be held in the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home 167 Maple St., (Rte 62) Danvers, Thursday, June 27th at 6 P.M. Visiting hours prior to the service from 4 to 6 P.M. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Barbara's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472 .
