Beatrice Belleau Obituary

BEVERLY It is with great sadness that the family of Beatrice D. Belleau announce her passing on All Saints Day, November 1st, at the age of 95, following a brief illness. She is survived by her husband J. Rudolph “Rudy” Belleau with whom she shared 73 wonderful and loving years.

Beatrice was born in Salem Ma, and was the daughter of the late Napoleon and Blanche Talbot Senechal. She was pre-deceased by her cherished brother Roland Senechal and his wife Joanne, and her dear sister, Claire and her husband William “Buzz” Longval.

After graduating from St Joseph Academy in Salem in 1942, Bea was employed in the insurance business, and shortly after married her high school sweetheart Rudy in 1947 following his service during WWII. Together they raised their family in Salem before retiring to Londonderry NH in 1985, and more recently to Colonial Gardens in Beverly.

In addition to her husband Rudy, Beatrice leaves two sons, Bradley and his wife Deborah of Danvers, Mark of Newburyport, and daughter Susan Lustig who resides with her husband Geoff in Lynchburg, VA. In addition to several nieces and nephews, she also leaves grandchildren Rachel Brown, Michael Belleau and Russell, Adam and Eric Lustig, as well as four great-grandchildren who lovingly referred to her as “Mimi Bea”.

Bea was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was much loved and whose passion for and nurturing of her family will be greatly missed. She had a keen sense of humor and love of life.
