Beatriz Toribio

SALEM – Mr. Beatriz Toribio, 88, passed away on Monday, March 13th, 2023 in Salem Hospital. Born in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, he was the son of the late Juan and Petronila Toribio. He was the husband of Juana Hernandez, with whom he celebrated 15 years of love and friendship.

Mr. Toribio was raised and educated in the Dominican Republic, attending local University before becoming a police officer for his community. Beatriz moved to Salem in 1996 with his late wife, Hilda (Espinosa) Toribio.

Beatriz was of the Catholic faith. Music was important, he was a skilled accordion player, and loved to sing and dance. Beatriz loved spending time with his family, whether it be a large gathering, or enjoying ones company over a game of dominoes. He will be missed, and remembered for his smile, and the happiness he brought others.

In addition to his beloved wife, Juana, Beatriz is survived by his children; Wilfrido Toribio and his wife Albania of Canada, and Fabian Toribio of the Dominican Repulic, his sisters; Blasina Toribio, Genara Toribio, Valentina Toribio, and Eduvigis Toribio, his brothers; Silvestre Toribio, and Sencion Toribio, 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his late wife Hilda Toribio, he is preceded in death by his children; George Toribio, Magalis Toribio, and siblings; Catalina Toribio, Espifania Toribio, and Eduviges Toribio.

ARRANEGMENTS: Family and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass which will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 15 Hawthorne Blvd, Salem, on Monday, March 20th, 2023 at 10AM, please meet directly at the church. Visiting hours will be held at O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 84 Washington Square, (at Salem Common) SALEM, on Sunday, March 19th, 2023 from 4-7 P.M. SALEM – El Sr. Beatriz Toribio, de 88 años, falleció el lunes 13 de marzo de 2023 en el Hospital de Salem. Nacido en Puerto Plata, República Dominicana, era hijo del fallecido Juan y Petronila Toribio. Es esposo de Juana Hernández, con quien celebró 15 años de amor y amistad.

El Sr. Toribio se crió y educó en la República Dominicana, asistiendo a la universidad local antes de convertirse en oficial de policía de su comunidad. Beatriz se mudó a Salem en 1996 con su difunta esposa, Hilda (Espinosa) Toribio.

Beatrice era de fe católica. La música era importante, él era un hábil acordeonista y le encantaba cantar y bailar. A Beatriz le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia, ya fuera en una gran reunión o disfrutando de su compañía con un juego de dominó. Lo extrañaremos y lo recordaremos por su sonrisa y la felicidad que trajo a los demás.

Además de su amada esposa, Juana, a Beatriz le sobreviven sus hijos; Wilfrido Toribio y su esposa Albania de Canadá, y Fabián Toribio de República Dominicana, sus hermanas; Blasina Toribio, Genara Toribio, Valentina Toribio y Eduvigis Toribio, sus hermanos; Silvestre Toribio y Sencion Toribio, 10 nietos, 5 bisnietos y muchas sobrinas y sobrinos. Además de su difunta esposa Hilda Toribio, le precedieron en la muerte sus hijos; George Toribio, Magalis Toribio y hermanos; Catalina Toribio, Espifania Toribio, and Eduviges Toribio.
