SALEM – Mr. Brian J. Anglin, 52 of Salem passed away unexpectedly due to a medical incident on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston with his family by his side.

Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Carroll and Elizabeth (Patterson) Anglin. Raised and educated in Salem, Brian was a graduate of Salem High School, class of 1988.

Throughout his life, Brian's talents and interests gifted him several trade opportunities. His enjoyment of cooking, provided him great happiness while working for restaurants on the North Shore. His love for being outdoors, enjoying nature, especially the ocean granted him peace as he worked as both a landscaper and handyman on local grounds and boats.

Brian's love for the ocean extended beyond his professional career. Being by the water provided him a sense of harmony and relaxation as he listened to the waves and spent his free time fishing. He was an avid football fan, coaching Pop Warner Youth Football in Salem and loved supporting his nephew through his sporting events. Above all else, Brian loved his family and was truly a kind and caring man who was a friend to all. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends.

Brian is survived by his devoted sister, Lisa M. Gibney of Salem, his nephew, Steven Gibney and his niece, Nicole Gibney both of Salem, his aunt, Janet McElaney and her husband, John of Peabody and many cousins, extended family and dear friends.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to attend Brian's visiting hours in the O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 84 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) Salem on Friday, March 12th from 4 to 6 P.M.
