BEVERLY- Mrs. Carol A. (Lovering) Mulligan, 81, of Beverly, beloved wife of the late Joseph Mulligan, who predeceased her on January 3, 2021, passed away suddenly at Beverly Hospital on Saturday, January 9, 2021.

Born in Manchester, New Hampshire, she was the daughter of the late Elroy and Helen (Colby) Lovering. She was raised and educated in Manchester, NH and was a graduate of Manchester Central High School, Class of 1957.

Mrs. Mulligan had been employed as an Administrative Assistant for New England Telephone in New Hampshire for several years prior to transferring to Boston. Carol also worked for many years at the House of Fabrics in downtown Beverly as well as Miles River Sewing Company.

A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Carol cherished the time she was able to spend with her grandchildren. She was an accomplished Seamstress and Upholsterer and always had a project in the works. An avid bowler she belonged to bowling leagues in Beverly and Danvers. Carol loved to travel, loved the company of her friends and family and especially enjoyed time at the family cottage on Cape Cod. She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.

Surviving Carol are her children, Donna Mulligan of Beverly and Joseph Mulligan and his wife Jennifer of Haverhill, and her grandchildren, Joseph and Liam Mulligan of Haverhill, her sister, Joan Bartkiewicz of Derry, NH, and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Jack Lovering, Doris Senechek, Barbara Bartlett and David Lovering.

ARRANGEMENTS: Services will be announced and held at a later date. Assisting the family with the arrangements is O’Donnell-Cremations-Funerals-Celebrations, 167 Maple St., (Rte. 62) Danvers.
