SALEM – Mrs. Carol Ann (Harding) Turner 79, devoted wife of Phillip A. Turner, died peacefully, January 7th, 2021 at Salem Hospital

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Catherine (Herlihy) Harding. A lifelong resident of the City of Salem, Carol was a graduate of Salem High School, Class of 1959.

Mrs. Turner devoted her life to her family. She took great pride in raising her children and providing a warm and loving home for all. Later in life she joined the workforce as a Bus Monitor for the Town of Danvers for 15 years working with special needs children, until the time of her retirement in 2018.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Carol was happiest when surrounded by her loved ones. She enjoyed spending her time playing Cribbage, Knitting and watching television with her grandchildren. She was a kind and caring woman, who was always willing to help those in need. If you needed help or a hug, Carol was always there willing and able. Family was paramount in her life and she will be deeply missed.

Carol is survived by her husband of 62 years, Phillip A. Turner of Salem, her daughter, Gail (LeBrun) Amancio and her husband Nelson of Salem, her son, Glen Turner and his wife Linda of Foxboro, her grandchildren, Tommy, David and Timmy LeBrun, her great grandchildren, Bradley, Alyssa and Vanessa and several nieces and nephews. She was the beloved sister of the late Nancy Eugenio.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral Mass will be held in St. James Church, Federal St., Salem, Monday, Jan. 11th at 10 A.M. All attendees must register to attend the Mass via her clicking the RSVP link below or by calling the funeral home (978-744-2350). Visiting hours at O’Donnell  Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 84 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) Salem, Sunday, Jan. 10th from 1 to 4 P.M. All attendees are required to wear face coverings, practice social distancing and are respectfully asked for no physical contact with the family. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem.
