Cecilia Helen (Carter) Wear

SALEM – Mrs. Cecilia Helen (Carter) Wear, 79, of Salem, beloved wife of the late Donald Wear Sr., died Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Salem Hospital.

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Wanda (Furtek) Carter/ She was raised and educated in Salem and attended Salem high School.

Mrs. Wear had been employed in the retail industry as a clerk. Her true life’s focus was her family. She took great pride in providing a warm and loving home for her husband and children and supported her family in all of their endeavors. She was the ultimate grandmother and cared for and loved her grandchildren tremendously.

Cecilia had a deep love of animals. Any animal she could help she would and she often took in animals in distress nursing them back to health. She had a huge heart and shared her love with all. She was a lifelong resident of the City of Salem and was truly devoted to her family and grandchildren. She will be missed.

Cecilia is survived by her daughters, Cecilia “Penny” Rouleau of Grapevine, TX and Christine Provencher and her husband Al of Salem, her sons, Donald Wear Jr and Christopher Wear both of Salem, her many grandchildren and great grandchildren, her brother, Roy Carter and his wife Rita and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Pauline Mahoney and mother-in-law of the late Thomas Rouleau.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service which will be held graveside, in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Orne St., Salem, Friday, June 12th at 11 AM.
