LYNN - Mr. Christian Jamir Batista 33, of Lynn, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at his home. Born in Salem, he was the son of Cristian and Silvia (Bencosme) Batista. He was raised and educated in Salem and attended Salem High School. An avid athlete, Christian excelled in Football and Basketball while in high School. He had a love of sports throughout his life, especially football. Music had a special place in Christian's life. He was very passionate about hip-hop and rap music and enjoyed dancing and spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed. Christian is survived by his parents, Cristian and Silvia (Bencosme) Batista of Salem, his sister, Yamirka Batista of Lynn, his nephew, Christian Sanchez and niece, Breanna I. Vasquez and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral Mass will be held in the Immaculate Conception Church, Hawthorne Blvd., Salem Tuesday, February 5th at 10 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. Visiting hours in The O'Donnell Funeral Home, 46 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) Salem, Monday, February 4th from 5 to 8 P.M.
