PEABODY – Mrs. Claire E. (Shute) Coviello, 69, of Peabody, formerly of Middleton, beloved wife of Christopher R. Coviello, died peacefully, Saturday, December 18th, 2021 at Sunrise at Gardner Park in Peabody.
Born in Beverly, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Ethel (Currier) Shute. She was raised and educated in Middleton and was a graduate of Masconomet Regional High School in Topsfield. She continued her education at Hairdressing School, earning her Beautician License.
Mrs. Coviello had been employed for many years with the Town of North Andover as an Office Administrator as well as working as the lead Administrator for the Director of North Andover Public Works Department. Over her professional career she had been associated with the former United Shoe Machine Corporation of Beverly and more recently with the Willist Kennel.
A true lover of the out of doors, Claire enjoyed spending her time gardening and motorcycling. She was an avid animal lover and had many canine companions over the years. Above all else family always came first and she will be deeply missed.
Claire is survived by her husband of 21 years, Christopher Coviello of Peabody, her brother, Benjamin Shute of Middleton, her niece, Anna Shute of Lawrence and many Currier Cousins and extended family.
