DANVERS –
Mr. Craig Doyle Michaud 54, of Danvers, died unexpectedly, May 3rd, 2021.
Born in Salem, he was the son of Patricia R. (Doyle) Michaud and the late George E. Michaud Jr. He was raised and educated in Salem and attended Bishop Fenwick High School and was a graduate of Salem Vocational School. Throughout his professional career, he continued his training, earning the Master Mechanic designation and countless other professional certificates. He was very proud of becoming a Licensed Ship Captain.
An astute Entrepreneur and Business Owner, Mr. Michaud was talented in many mechanical disciplines. A Master Mechanic and Machinist, he was the operator of his family's company CDM Marine Services of Danvers and previously Engines & Components of Beverly. If it had an engine, he could fix it. He and his wife Yvonne were the founders and proprietors of Rccarstore of Danvers, a true passion project of his. He was a Certified Master Dive Instructor and took great pride in sharing his love of diving with others.
A man with boundless vigor and interests, Craig was a racing and motorsports enthusiast and member of the N.H.R.A. He was a passionate drag racer, avid boater and skier, all of which he enjoyed doing most with his wife and treasured sons. Known for his "quirky" personality, the "Grumpy Mechanic" (as he liked to call himself), had the infinite ability to make others laugh. From his sharing of Memes, to his witty puns and jokes, putting a smile on others faces truly made him happy. He was an entertainer at heart and was the favorite uncle of his many nieces and nephews. He also possessed a deep passion for music, especially the Blues and would share this love with his friends.
Craig and his mother Trish truly had a special relationship. Her only son, he loved her dearly and was proud to be called a "Momma's boy". His love of his family including his dogs Rockit and Sparky ran deep. He was a devoted father, loyal brother and caring uncle who will be truly missed.
Craig is survived by his sons, Cody and Clay Michaud of Danvers, his beloved mother, Patricia R. (Doyle) Michaud of Salem, his wife, Yvonne (Moné) Michaud of Danvers, his sisters, Julie-Susan Harrison and her husband, Michael of Easton and Cherie Wilson and her husband, Robert of Nottingham, NH, his brother-in-law Richie "Cahdboahd" Moné, his nieces and nephews, Liz Stewart, Max Berry, Nate Paul, and Breannah Fortey, his great nieces and nephews and many cousins and extended family and close friends.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours at O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 84 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) Salem, Monday, May 10th from 5 to 8 P.M.
