Daisy Bradstreet Obituary

BEVERLY- Daisy E. (Bridgman) Bradstreet, 94, of Beverly, loving wife, beloved mother, and cherished grandmother passed away peacefully on December 14, 2020 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, MA after a brief illness.

Daisy was born in Everett, MA to Neal and Emilie (Kaercher) Bridgman. She grew up in Beverly, and then moved to Danvers graduating from Holten High School in Danvers in 1945. The family then moved to Topsfield, where she joined the choir and met her future husband Howard with whom she shared 56 years of marriage. They raised their family together on the Bradstreet farm. After moving to Salem, N.H. from 1984 to 2013 she returned full circle back to her home town of Beverly and very happily lived out her final years at Harborlight House.

Daisy loved gardening and baking her favorite desserts for her family, almost as much as spending time watching her grandchildren grow. Family pie favorites were her squash, lemon meringue, and apple pies cooked to perfection. You could always find cookies in the cookie jar. She opened her heart to everyone she met especially her close friends and caregivers at Harborlight House.

Daisy loved her family unconditionally. She was predeceased by her husband, Howard in 2004, her brother, Robert Bridgman and wife, Beverly of Pueblo, Colorado, newborn son, baby Harold, son-in-law, Robert Colleton, and newborn great granddaughter, Krystal Baker. She is survived by sons Robert and his wife, Maureen of Beverly, and John of Danville, NH. Daughters Kathleen and husband, Arthur Hart of Salem, NH, Linda and husband, Steven Smith of Salem, NH, Debra and husband James Feldman of Beverly, MA, and Mary Colleton of Clinton, MA. Nephew Scott Bridgman and wife Rhonda and Brett and Chad from Pueblo, Colorado. Grandchildren Michelle and David Morin, Todd Baker, Toni Baker, Melissa Smith, Rebecca and Brian Lehman, Jenna and Shane Keegan, Derek Feldman, and Shane Bradstreet. Great-grandchildren Abigail, Joshua, Damian, Damian Jr., Christopher, Layla, Samantha, Emily, Camryn, Kai, Alexander, Alyvia, Annabelle, Aliyah, Ava, Keira, and Chloe.
