Dana Elvis Penick

DANVERS – Dana Elvis Penick, 33, of Danvers. It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Dana who on Wednesday, October 7th, 2020 unexpectedly died at his home in Danvers, MA, after battling a number of health issues over the past few years.  

Born, Dana Elvis Penick, at Salem Hospital, January 26^th, 1987, he was a 2006 Peabody Veterans Memorial High School graduate, where he was an avid athlete, playing on the varsity football and lacrosse teams. He was also a member of the basketball program at PVMHS. Dana truly excelled as a member of the Boys Varsity Lacrosse team, where he was the starting goalie for three seasons. In his sophomore season the team reached the quarter finals of the state tournament and were Greater Boston League Champions (2003).

He was a devoted Patriots fan and was also known for his keen sense of humor and love of music. He was quick to laugh and enjoyed making others smile. He will be deeply missed. 

Dana is survived by his parents Dana Penick and Ann Marie (Hughes) Penick both of Danvers: Jesse his younger brother and his grandmother, Ann Dunleavy of Peabody. He was predeceased by grandparents, Phillip and Beverly Penick of Peabody and John “Jack” Hughes of Salem. Dana will be loved and missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to a grave side service at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody, Friday, Oct. 23rd at 12 Noon.
