SALEM - Mr. David W. Gabrielski 61, of Salem, died unexpectedly, Monday evening, December 17th, 2012, at his home.
Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Stanley and Margaret Ann (Burke) Gabrielski. He was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School. David was also preceded in death by his brothers, Stephen and Brian.
An honorably discharged disabled veteran, David served his country proudly as a member of the United States Army.
David had been employed in the printing industry for many years and worked for various companies including Analogic Corp and Gordon College.
An ardent and passionate music fan, David enjoyed all types of music especially the blues. He spent his time researching and studying music, its foundation and formation. The thing in life he enjoyed most was attending live music shows and concerts and he had been to hundreds.
David is survived by his sister Susan Nickerson and her husband Peter of San Antonio, Florida, his niece Libby Gabrielski & his nephew Matthew Gabrielski both of Florida, his wife Bonnie Gabrielski and his best friend Robert Morneau of Peabody.
ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral service will be held in The O'Donnell Funeral Home 46 Washington Sq., (At Salem Common) Salem, Saturday at 10 A. M. Relatives and friends invited. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. Visiting hours Friday from 4 to 7 P.M. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in David's Memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
