BEVERLY - Mr. David Norman Isler, 49, of Beverly, died unexpectedly Saturday, March 31, at his home.
Born in Boston, he was the son of Norman and Peggy (Evans) Isler of Topsfield. He was raised in Erie, Pennsylvania and Topsfield. David was a graduate of the New Hampton School in New Hampton, NH.
In his youth, David was an avid skier who enjoyed the White Mountains in New Hampshire, as well as Copper Mountain in Colorado. His other interests included skateboarding, rock climbing, mountaineering, and sailing. He was a loving son, brother and uncle who will be deeply missed.
In addition to his devoted parents, David is survived by his three sisters, Barbara (Isler) Herzog and her husband John Herzog, D.D.S. of Danvers, Ann Isler of FL, and Beth Isler of Burlington, VT, his eight nieces and nephews, Eric Hanko, Kristin Hanko, Emma Herzog, Jennifer (Isler) Roberts and her husband Matthew Roberts, Sarah Scott, Kaitlin Scott, Zachary Frontiero, Rachel Fitzgerald, and extended family and friends.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives & friends are invited to visiting hours in The Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St. (Rte. 62), Danvers, Wednesday from 4 - 7 P.M.. Family & friends are invited to stay for a prayer service on David's behalf at the conclusion of visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in David's memory to the Brain & Behavior Research Foun- dation, 60 Cuttermill Road. #404, Great Neck, NY 11021.
