DANVERS - Delores (DeVito) Gallant, 68, of Danvers, MA, passed away peacefully in her sleep holding her daughter's hand on Tuesday July 21st after a lengthy illness. Delores was the daughter of Angelo DeVito and the late Delores Petrillo of Danvers, MA. Delores was born in Medford, MA and moved to Danvers with her family as a child. She graduated from Danvers High School in 1970. She was employed as the office manager at James F. Mullen Company in Ipswich and Merrimac, MA for 25 years before retiring in 2016 when her health deteriorated. Delores loved to read and spend time outdoors but most of all she loved spending time with her daughter and grandson. Her family was her whole world. In addition to her dear father Angelo, Delores is survived by her beloved daughter Nicole (Gallant) Nunes, her son-in-law Derek Nunes and her cherished grandson D.J. Nunes of Danvers. Delores was predeceased by her mother Delores in 2006 and her brother Robert in 2002. It brings her family comfort to know they are now together again. Words cannot express how much Delores was loved and how much she will be missed by her family.
