CHARLESTOWN - Mrs. Diana Theresa (Caruso) Nickerson, 93, formerly Charlestown, passed away peacefully Friday, September 16, 2016 at Academy Manor in Andover. Born January 29, 1922 in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Lucia and Baldasare Caruso and was one of ten children. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by her family. Diana is survived by her children, Linda Simonelli and her husband Wayne of Middleton, her grandchildren, Jillian and Daniel Dunn of Rowley, Adam Simonelli and Kevin Dias of Warwick, R.I. and Eric Simonelli and Kayla Crowley of Peabody, her great grandchildren, Lydia and Brinley Dunn.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral will be held from the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home 167 Maple St., (rte 62) Danvers, Tuesday, Sept. 20th at 8:15 A.M. followed by her funeral Mass in St. Agnes Church, Boston St., Middleton at 9 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Visiting hours Monday, Sept. 19th from 4 to 8 P.M.
