DANVERS- Mrs. Doris A. (Nickerson) Krueger, 87, beloved wife of the late Albert A. Krueger, died Monday, January 4, 2016 at Putnam Farm, Danvers, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Danvers, she was the daughter of the late Andrew L. and Annie F. (Britt) Nickerson. Raised and educated in Danvers she was a graduate of the former Holten High School. Doris continued her education receiving her Nursing Degree from Beverly Hospital School of Nursing.

Following her marriage, Doris and Albert moved to Troy, Ohio where she had been employed as a Nurse at the Upper Valley Hospital for many years, until the time of her retirement. After Albert's passing, Doris returned to her home in Danvers.

Fun loving and always quick to smile, Doris enjoyed life to its fullest. She loved being around people and especially spending time with her many friends and family. She was an avid bridge player and a member of the Beverly Hospital Nursing Alumni Association.

Doris is survived by her extended family including her nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and several dear friends.

ARRANGEMENTS- Her Funeral Service will be held in the Peterson O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St. (Rte 62) Danvers, Monday January 11th at 11:00 A.M. Relatives and friends invited.
