DANVERS- Mr. Earl W. Almon 71 of Danvers, beloved husband of Gail M. (Euzukonis) Almon died Thursday, August 13th, 2015 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House surrounded by his family. Born in Paris Island South Carolina, on the Marine Base, he was the son of the late Earl R. and Margie (Alford) Almon. As a young boy he traveled and resided in many different places throughout the United States. He was raised in Chicago, Kentucky and Massachusetts and attended schools in all of those locations. He was a graduate of the Ohio Institute of Electronics in Cleveland Ohio. Mr. Almon had been employed as a machinist with various companies throughout the North Shore. A loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle, Earl was a long time member of the First Church of Danvers, Congregational. He was an avid Hamm Radio operator, tracking satellites and communication devices throughout the world. He enjoyed working with his hands and was often found fixing and maintaining computers of family and friends. His most enjoyable time in his life was when he was spending time with his family and friends. His grandchildren brought him the greatest joy in his life. He always had a smile on his face, ear to ear, when he was in the presence of his grandchildren and family. He was devoted to his beloved wife and family and will be deeply missed. Earl is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Gail M. (Euzukonis) Almon of Danvers, his sons, Earl Wayne Almon Jr. and his wife Kimberly of Danvers, and Michael D. Almon and his wife Stacy of Lowell, his daughters, Wendy O. Almon and her husband, Peter Aceto of Danvers and Meegan Carpenter of Peabody, his 15 grandchildren, Steven, Kristina, Alexandra, Justin, Kayla, William, Jacob, Kyle, Matthew, Alysia, Nik, Jaiden, Peter Jr., Amanda and Jordyn his great granddaughter, Gisele, his siblings, Joseph E. Almon of Nevada, John Almon of Mass, Gloria Almon of Middleton, Dorothy Miller of Ca. and Tina Leon of Danvers and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Ronnie Sisk.

ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral service will be held in the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home 167 Maple St., (rte 62) Danvers, Monday, August 17th at 7 P.M. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours prior to the service on Monday, August 17th from 4 to 6:30 P.M.. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may beam de in Earl's memory to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.
