Edgar Orlando (Chicki) De La Roca

PEABODY – Mr. Edgar Orlando De La Roca, “Chicki”, age 46, of Peabody, beloved husband of Stacy (Lee) De La Roca, died May 2, 2020 at Salem Hospital after battling the Covid-19 virus.

Born in Lynn, he was the son of Joseph and Carmen (Marquez) De La Roca.

He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, nephew and cousin who had a deep love for his family. He was a passionate Boston Sports fan and especially loved supporting the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.

A hardworking man, Chicki had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. He will be forever remembered, always missed and may his memory be eternal.

Orlando is survived by his wife of 19 years, Stacy (Lee) De La Roca of Boston, his children, Angel De La Roca, Kaytlen De La Roca, Kally De La Roca, Lexie De La Roca, Matthew De La Roca, Khloe De La Roca and Alex Figueroa, his parents, Joseph and Carmen (Marquez) De La Roca, his brother, Peter A. Lugo, his dear uncle, Ezequiel Candelaria, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.

ARRANGEMENTS: Due to the current pandemic restrictions, services will be private. He will be interred with his beloved late uncle Xavier Marquez at Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. Assisting the family with the arrangements is O’Donnell – Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 84 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) Salem. Sharing written remembrances and condolences, during this time will be essential in helping Chicki’s family reminisce, celebrate and heal.
