Ernest Bianco Obituary

DANVERS - Mr. Ernest J. Bianco, 87, of Danvers, beloved husband of Christina M. (Villari) Bianco, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 19, 2021 at Ledgewood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Beverly surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Topsfield, he was the son of the late Carmine Bianco Sr. and Maria (Cotoia) Bianco. He was raised and educated in Topsfield and Danvers and was a graduate of the former Holten High School Class of 1951.

An honorably discharged veteran, Mr. Bianco proudly served his country, in Germany, as a member of the United States Army during the Korean war.

An avid gardener, Ernest made his living landscaping. He tended to the gardens and properties of his clients as if they were his own. He loved being outdoors enjoying the beauty of the gardens. He was dependable, hardworking with a strong work ethic which endeared him to many.

A loving husband, father and grandfather, he worked hard every day to provide for his family. Ernest enjoyed being with his family, doting on his beloved granddaughters, traveling, especially the many family cruises.

Art was inherent to his nature, he expressed himself through several mediums, his gardens, his beautiful water color paintings he shared with family and friends and through acting as a former member of the North Shore Players, where he met his wife, Christina. He loved Topsfield Fair time and was involved in many aspects of the Fair over the years, from parking cars to working for the treasurer and helping with the 200-year Anniversary Book Committee. He submitted several of his paintings over the years for exhibit at Coolidge Hall and won 1st place and best in show. He was a supporter of the Northshore Music Theater where he and Christina were long-time season ticket holders and enjoyed attending the shows.

Surviving Ernest, in addition to his wife Christina with whom he shared 50 years of marriage, is his daughter, Carla Burnett and her husband, Brian of Amesbury, his granddaughters, Alexa and Gianna Burnett of Amesbury, his siblings, Carmine Bianco, Jr and his twin, Marie Trudeau and Elena Collins, many nieces, nephews and many friends at the Topsfield Fair. He was also the brother of the late Gerardo “Gerry” Bianco, Antonio Bianco, Angelo Bianco and Joan Gauthier Carlton.
