SOUTH HAMILTON-Mrs. Evelyn L. (McKeen) Hollingsworth, 90 beloved wife of the late Lee A. Hollingsworth, passed away Monday, April 20, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Woburn she was the daughter of the late John and Etta (Fetridge) McKeen. She was raised and educated in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn High School.
Mrs. Hollingsworth had been employed as a Sales Associate for Marshalls clothing store for many years. Where she made many lifelong friends.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Evelyn was truly happiest when doting on her grandchildren; they were the center of her world. She loved watching them grow and being involved in their many activities.
A member of the YMCA for many years, she continued up until the time of her illness. She relished her weekly outings with her friends from the Y and her fellow retirees. She will be deeply missed by her loving family and many dear friends.
Surviving Evelyn are her daughters, Susan Hollingsworth of South Hamilton, Donna DiCicco and her husband Donald of Haverhill, and Sandra Letourneau of Methuen, her son, Kevin Hollingsworth of South Hamilton, her grandchildren, Samantha Trout of Florida, Michael Heath of Haverhill, Jon Green of Malden and Ian Green of Methuen and her great-grandchild, Keegan Heath of Haverhill and several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late John Hollingsworth.
