PEABODY- Mrs. Evelyn F. (Blundell) Hooper 93, of Brooksby Village, Peabody, formerly of Lynnfield and Danvers, beloved wife of the late Donald Hooper, died March 15th, 2015. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Susan (Moore) Blundell. She was raised and educated in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn English High School, class of 1939. Mrs. Hooper held secretarial positions in the insurance industry and in the placement office at Tufts University before turning her full energies to her true passion as a skilled and loving homemaker for her family. A long time resident of the Town of Lynnfield and the Town of Danvers prior to moving to Brooksby Village in 2005, she was an active member of the Lynnfield Congregational Church and the church's Women's Cog Wheel Group. After moving to Danvers, she became a member of the First Church of Danvers Congregational. She was a cherished daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt who loved spending time with family and friends, and she will be deeply missed. Evelyn is survived by her son, Donald Moore Hooper and his wife Lynn R. of Topsfield, her grandchildren, Nathan E. Hooper of Topsfield and Samantha H. Reid and her husband Justin of Greenville, SC, and many nieces and nephews. She was the twin sister of the late Vivian Sizer and sister of the late Charles Blundell and Edward Blundel.

ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be private. Assisting the family with the arrangements is the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home 167 Maple St., (rte 62) Danvers. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Evelyn's memory to the Brooksby Village Protestant Fund, C/O Pastoral Ministries/E. Hooper, 300 Brooksby Village Drive, Peabody, Ma 01960.
