Fiormayra (Gonzalez) Medina

SALEM - Mrs. Fiormayra (Gonzalez) Medina 62, of Salem, beloved wife of Franklin Antonio Medina Sr., died Sunday, June 20th, 2021 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. 

Born in Santiago, Dominican Republic, she was the daughter of the late Aquiles Gonzalez and Ana Tejada. After her parents immigrated to the United States, she was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody Veterans Memorial High School. She continued her education at North Shore Community College. 

Mrs. Medina was devoted to her family. She spent her life supporting her husband, children and grandchildren. They were the most important thing in the world to her. She was also especially close with her siblings and nieces and nephews. She was also very devoted to her faith. A long time resident of the City of Salem. She will be deeply missed. 

Fiomayra is survived by her husband Franklin Antonio Medina Sr., her children, Franklin Antonio Medina Jr., Marcos Medina and Julissa Medina, her grandchildren, Liam and Jariel, her siblings, Zeneida Gonzales and Ana Del Carmen Mirabal and several nieces and nephews. 

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service will begin with a procession from O'Donnell Cremations - Funerals - Celebrations - 84 Washington Square, Salem, MA 01970,  Thursday, June 24th at 9:30 A.M. followed by her graveside service at Greenlawn Cemetery, Orne St., Salem at 10 A.M.
