SALEM - Mr. Frank B. Clocher 96, of Salem, beloved husband of Nancy Belanger-Clocher, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021 at the Veterans Hospital in Bedford, MA.
Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Alfred and Esther (Arrington) Clocher. He was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem Vocational High School.
An honorably discharged veteran, Frank proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army Air Corp during World War II, receiving several medals and commendations for his brave service.
Frank was very involved in Salem, the city he loved. Steadfast in his spirit of duty, Frank could always be counted on to support the many charitable endeavors he was involved with, lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors and was always a staunch supporter of the veterans.
Surviving Frank, in addition to his wife Nancy, are his children, Sandra Green and her husband, Bill, Elaine Clocher and Mike, Patricia Balcomb and her husband, Richard, Judith Little, Gloria Kelley, Gerald Clocher and his wife, Dory, his grandchildren: Cheryl, Chris, Becky, Stephen, Amanda, Chad, Shannon, Douglas, Ashley, Jordan, Joel, Tina, Anne Marie and Erin. And 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Frank was predeceased by his first wife, Pauline (DeForrest) Clocher and his son, Thomas Clocher.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service which will be held in O’Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 84 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) Salem on Monday, July 19th at 6:30 P.M.
