Frank Matthew Pellegrino Jr.

BOXFORD – Mr. Frank Matthew Pellegrino Jr., 59, of Boxford, beloved husband of Colleen (Tibbetts) Pellegrino, died unexpectedly, September 5th, 2023.

Born in Medford, he was the son of Carol (Cloran) Pellegrino and the late Frank Pellegrino Sr. He was raised in West Medford, educated at St. Raphael’s School, and was a graduate of North Cambridge Catholic High School, as a member of the class of 1982. He continued his education at Bunker Hill Community College, earning his Associates Degree in X-Ray Technology.

Frank was currently employed at Beverly Hospital as an M.R.I. Technologist. Revered and renowned in the medical field for his calming bedside manner, Frank was often personally requested by physicians and patients alike for his exceptional ability to genuinely connect with his patients and put them at ease while going through difficult times. Patients and colleagues alike truly loved him as he approached his work with a profound passion and easy going nature. He earned numerous awards for his care of those in need and his expert capacity to perform his calling.

An avid saltwater fisherman, Frank enjoyed spending time at his family cottage in West Yarmouth, Cape Cod with his family and friends. Many great memories were made on Crowell Beach swimming with his children, grandchildren and extended family, playing bocce, and laughing and catching up with friends and family. When not on the beach, Frank shared his passion for cooking by sharing his culinary skills and delights and took enormous pleasure in feeding and entertaining everyone around him. He took immense pride in bringing others joy with his larger-than-life personality and sense of humor.

If you knew Frank, you knew his heart and laughed and loved deeply. He had an uncanny ability to light up a room and you couldn’t help but smile when you were in his presence. This love he so freely gave to all, he showered even more so upon his family and friends. Faith and family were truly at the heart of who Frank was. His faith in Christ guided his life. He was incredibly proud of his children and supported all of his family in their life’s endeavors. Frank will be remembered for his million-watt smile and his devotion to his family and loved ones. He will be forever in our hearts and deeply missed.

Frank is survived by his loving wife, Colleen (Tibbetts) Pellegrino of Boxford, his mother, Carol (Cloran) Pellegrino of Beverly, his children, Kristen Pellegrino & her fiancé, Irwin Perry of Haverhill, Melissa DiLiegro of Weymouth and Matthew Frank Pellegrino of Boxford, his grandchildren, Talia Ginsberg, Marquise Perry, Tyson Perry & Irwin Perry Jr., his sisters, Debra Cobosco & her husband, David of Sanford, NC, Linda Bowden of Danvers and Lori Pellegrino of Danvers, his nieces and nephews, Jack & Luke Bowden, Andrew & Greysen Vanin, Emily Estabrooks, Nicholas Cobosco & Kyle Fogel.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral Mass which will be held at St. Richard Church, 90 Forest St., Danvers, Monday, Sept. 11th at 11 A.M. (Please meet directly at the church) Visiting hours at O’Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 167 Maple St., (rte 62) DANVERS, Sunday, Sept. 10th from 2 to 6 P.M.
