DANVERS- Genevieve "Sally" M. LaRue died peacefully early morning November 13, 2012 at Hunt Nursing Home in Danvers, MA after a long illness. She died from the side-effects of Alzheimer's. She was the loving wife to Stephen S. La Rue , who predeceased her in 2004.

She was born September 3, 1921 in Lancaster, Ohio to a Harry and Stella McClellan and was raised on the family dairy farm, which was a source of tremendous joy and pride for her.

Although graduated from Wittenberg College, Sally chose to devote her life to caring for her family. She is survived by her 3 daughters Ann La Rue of Newburyport, MA, Amy La Rue of Toronto, Canada, and Sally La Rue of Harwich, MA; 4 grandchildren, Stephanie Rogers Sallah and Meghan Rogers of Toronto, Canada, and Lily Hanssens of Boston, MA., and Justin Ryder of Harwich, MA.; and 2 great-grandchildren Madeleine and Preston Sallah of Toronto, Canada. She was so loved by her family, friends and the wonderful staff at Hunt Nursing Home. We will miss her very, very much.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral services are private. Assisting the family with the arrangements is the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home 167 Maple St., (rte 62) Danvers.
