Gerald L. Stanley

BEVERLY- Mr. Gerald L. Stanley 83, of Beverly, beloved husband of the late Catherine “Katy” (DiMarino) Stanley, passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, November 26, 2022.

Born in Lynn on July 4, 1939, he was the son of the late Carl and Ida (Walker) Stanley.

Mr. Stanley was a Quality Control Manager at Data Cube in Peabody for several years. He had a passion for martial arts and spent most of his adult life teaching karate. He held the rank of 6-dan and earned the title of Renshi.

Surviving Gerald are his daughters, AnnMarie Stanley of Beverly, and Maureen McLaughlin and her partner Gustav Held of Salem, NH, his son, Gerald Stanley, Jr of Ogden, UT, his grandchildren, Kelly Stanley, Jacqueline LaPointe and her husband Richard, and Jessica Stanley, and his great-grandchildren, Cole Stanley, Cayden Stanley, and Louie LaPointe. He was also the father of the late Richard Stanley.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral which will be held from O’Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 167 Maple St., (Rte. 62) DANVERS on Tuesday, December 6th at 9 A.M. followed by his funeral Mass at St. Mary Star of the Sea, Cabot St., Beverly at 10 A.M.
