HAVERHILL - Mr. James “Jim” Henry Belkus, 77, of Haverhill, passed away on Sunday, October 11th, 2020 following a brief illness.
Born in Beverly, MA, the son of the late Benjamin and Catherine (Paul) Belkus, he was raised and educated in Topsfield. He was a graduate of Masconomet Regional High School, Class of 1960, after which he worked in a grocery store.
Jim was a Red Sox fan and enjoyed watching their games, as well as football and movies. A day at the beach and listening to 50's music were favorites. He was friendly and enjoyed talking with people wherever he went; the Topsfield Fair, the Congregational Church, on family trips throughout the country, and more recently with his friends at Lakeview House.
Jim is survived by cousins, Jean (Krupsky) McKenna and Steven Krupsky, nieces, Jennifer (Belkus) Goolkasian and Jessica Belkus; nephew, Brian Belkus; his sister-in-law, Ann Haviland and friend, Stan Dunbar. Jim was predeceased by his brother, Paul Belkus.
