BEVERLY- Mr. James J. Cook Sr., 84, of Beverly, beloved husband of the late Calista B. (Harris) Cook, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, December 27th, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Boston, he was the son of the late James V. and Caroline (Rodes) Cook, he and his family travelled to several cities growing up and attended South Philadelphia High School, eventually returning to Beverly where he resided for 60 years.

A loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, James took great pride in his family. He was immensely proud of their accomplishments and enjoyed being involved in their many activities.
Surviving James is his daughter, Calista (Cook) Houston of Brookline, his sons, James J. Cook Jr. and his wife Paula and David Cook, all of Beverly, his 10 grandchildren and his 10 great-grandchildren.
