James A. McLaughlin, age 90 of Peabody, formerly of Winchester and Ipswich, MA & Hampton and Exeter, NH. Loving husband of Margaret M. (Marshall) McLaughlin died suddenly surrounded by his loving family on Friday, March 19, 2021 at Lahey Medical Center in Burlington. Talented & accomplished builder and realtor. Avid gardener, golfer & boater and enjoyed the comradery of his Brooksby Village poker team. Devoted father to Andrew McLaughlin & wife Cindy of Georgetown, Mary Dawe & husband Thomas of Northborough, Mike McLaughlin & wife Maryanne of Hampton, NH, Tim McLaughlin & wife Pat of Salisbury and Dave McLaughlin & wife Trish of Wakefield, loving grandfather of 11 grandchildren & great-grandfather of 4. He was the brother of the late Daniel McLaughlin.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to attend James’ visiting hour which will be held in St. John the Baptist Church, 17 Chestnut St., Peabody on Thursday, April 8th from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. Followed by his   funeral Mass which will be held in the church at 11 A.M. Burial is private. All attendees are required to wear face coverings and practice social distancing.
