SALEM – Jasmin Lizbeth Lara 17, of Salem entered eternal rest November 8th, 2022. Jasmin had a beautiful smile and glowing presence. Her bright light has dimmed too soon but her love and memory will be with us forever.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of William A. Lara and Ironelis Diaz and step daughter of Guillermo Melo. She was raised and educated in Salem and was a senior at Salem High School.
A life long resident of the city of Salem, Jasmin was a kind, sensitive and loving person. A talented artist in many mediums, she loved to draw and paint. She also had a deep passion for Anime and literature. A voracious reader she loved to open her imagination in books and storytelling.
Jasmin is survived by her parents, Ironelis Diaz and her husband Guillermo Melo of Salem and William A. Lara of Dorchester, her maternal grandparents, Miguel Diaz and Adrianna Tejeda, her paternal grandmother, Santa Guerrrero, her sisters, Yanelis Lara, Jayleen Melo and Aleanny Lara, her brother, Wilfred Lara and many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her Funeral Mass will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church, Hawthorne Blvd., Salem, Wednesday, Nov. 16th at 10 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at O’Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 84 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) SALEM, Tuesday, Nov. 15th from 4 to 7 P.M.
