February 13, 1976 – December 11, 2021
SALEM – Mr. Jean Jr. Alexandre, 45, of Salem, passed unexpectedly, Saturday, December 11th, 2021 at Salem Hospital following a valiant battle against Covid-19.
Jean was born in Petion-ville, Haiti. He was the son of Marie Josee (Joseph) Alexandre and the late Jean Claude Alexandre. He was raised and educated in Salem. He was a graduate of Salem High School. He continued his education earning his Associates Degree at Hesser College.
Jean was employed in the Transportation Industry for many years. He worked for Federal Express and currently had been employed as a driver of Special Needs Children.
Jean, Jean, the dancing machine, was a brother, uncle and friend. Jean was known for being the first to hit the dance floor and getting the party started. Jean was devoted to his family. Above all else, Jean adored and cherished his daughter, Neela Alexandre. They loved to travel and explore everywhere from Disney to Haiti. If you knew Jean, you knew he loved The Notorious B.I.G (Biggie) and Michael Jordan. If you ever wanted to raise the "Hulk's" blood pressure, just tell him Lebron is the G.O.A.T. Last but not least, despite living in New England, Jean was a Loyal N.Y Jets fan. He will forever be remembered for his giant smile his dedication to his family. He will be greatly missed.
Jean is survived by his daughter, Neela Alexandre, his mother, Marie Josee (Joseph) Alexandre, his sister, Elepsiba Alexandre, many nieces, nephews, God children and friends. He was the brother of the Late, Great, Claude Alexandre who passed away in September of 2019 and Jonathan "Dj Bofka" Alexandre who passed away in August of 2020.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours at O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 84 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) SALEM, Thursday, Dec. 16 th from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. (Noon). Immediately followed by his Funeral Service at 12 P.M. (Noon).
