SALEM – Mr. John Michael Polakiewicz, 64, of Salem, passed away on July 16th, 2020 after a short illness. He was the loving husband of Janet (Marzec) Polakiewicz with whom he shared 43 years of marriage.
John is survived by his wife, Janet, and his devoted sons, Jonathan and Christopher. He is also survived by his mother, Regina and his brother, Mark and preceded in death by his father John who died in 2007.
He attended Salem schools and was employed by CPI of Beverly for nearly 25 years. He was an avid sports fans, following all of the Boston teams. His love of sports led him to the youth of Salem. For many years he was a coach of several youth teams from Little League to Babe Ruth baseball and also Pop Warner football. He not only taught them the sport, but taught them good sportsmanship.
