PEABODY - Ms. Juana Francina De La Altagracia Ortiz Pimentel 51, of Peabody died December 11, 2014 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington surrounded by her family. Born in Bani, Dominican Republic, she was the daughter of William of the Dominican Republic and Mirtha Pimentel Ortiz of Peabody. Juana was raised and educated in the Dominican Republic and immigrated to the United States in February of this year. Juana had been employed in the Health Care field as a nurse's aide until the time of her illness. She was only here in the United States for a few months prior to her becoming ill. Juana had a larger than life personality and was always the life of the party. She loved to dance and was always found with a smile on her face. She enjoyed cooking for friends and entertaining her family and friends at her house for holidays and other milestone events. Her warm and caring personality endeared her to many; her loving and kind nature will be what people miss the most. She was loved in life and will never be forgotten in death. In addition to her loving parents, Juana is survived by her children, Vickina Ortiz of the Dominican Republic, Victor Ortiz of Peabody and William Ortiz of the Dominican Republic, her grandchildren, Wilmer, Dalvin and Ralvin and many extended family and friends her on the North Shore and in the Dominican Republic.
