MIDDLETON - Mr. Julio Suke, 57 of Middleton passed away on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020 at Lahey Burlington Hospital following an extended illness.
Born in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, he was the son of Helena (Lopes) and the late Bert Suke. At the age of 3, Julio had already traveled the world and moved to the United States. Raised in West Peabody and a graduate of Peabody Veterans Memorial High School, class of 1980.
Julio was a hard worker as well as a strong family man all of his life, he loved his three daughters more than life itself. He had a kind heart and would give others the shirt off his back if needed. He was the light that would light up a room and was always the life of the party. He went from working for his father’s family business, to owning Suke's Garage in Peabody square, as well as working for Wayside Trailers which encouraged him to go on to receive his commercial driver’s license as well as his HVAC and Refrigeration license.
Julio had a love for riding his Harley as well as spending time in the ocean on his boat. He had quite the series of collections and hobbies, ranging from model airplanes and cameras to tools and model trains. His passion for travel extended into his schooling and he went on to achieve his pilot’s license. Julio was a member of the North Reading Moose Lodge #1511. In addition, Julio was a member of the Masons AF & AM.
Julio is survived by his mother, Helena (Lopes) Suke of Middleton, his 3 daughters, Nicole "Nik" Marie of Danvers, Aundrea Debra of Cape Coral FL, and Julie "Ju" Cristina of North Reading, his granddaughter Shelby Ryann of Cape Coral FL, goddaughter and niece, Stephanie Ann and niece, Elizabeth of Plastow NH, Cousin, Bess Schoen in Atlanta GA. He was also survived by an abundance of friends and extended family members. He is predeceased by his father Bert Suke and his brother Alexander Suke.
ARRANGEMENTS: The Suke family will be holding a public Funeral Mass in honor of Julio, to which all will be invited, at a date and time to be announced. Assisting the family with the arrangements is the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (Rte. 62) Danvers.
