SALEM – Mr. Kenneth Liversage, 89 of Salem, loving husband of Martha (LeBell) (McDonald) Liversage, passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, with his family by his side.
Born, raised and educated in New Castle, Pennsylvania, Kenneth was the son of the late Albert and Irene (Dibley) Liversage. Following his high school graduation, Ken enlisted in the United States Navy where he proudly served his country during the Korean War on the USS Missouri and the USS Salem.
A longtime resident of the North Shore, Ken dedicated his professional career as a machinist where he worked at Varian in Beverly for many years until the time of his retirement.
A hard working, thoughtful and devoted man, Ken loved his wife and family. He was generous with his time, volunteering for many years at the Boys and Girls Club in Salem where he was known as Mr. Basketball. He loved being around children and enriching their lives with laughter and jokes. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his wife, Martha with whom he shared nearly 37 years of marriage, Ken is survived by his children; Linda Michaud of Athol, Ken Liversage, Jr. of Athol, Paula Duquette of Lowell and Douglas Liversage of Hollister, CA, his 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and his brother; Richard Liversage and his wife Jennifer of Balmsville, NY. He was the father of the late Gary Liversage.
