SALEM - Kevin Patrick "Pep" Cornacchio of Salem passed away on August 14th, 2021 in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was 63 years old.

His death is preceded by his parents, Katherine (McKay) and Joseph "Pep" Cornacchio. He is survived by his loving wife Margaret (Byrne) Cornacchio of 33 years, his daughter, Emily Gattie and her husband, Brian, his daughter, Katherine Bona and her husband, Joseph, and his son, Patrick Cornacchio. He also lives on in the memory of his six siblings: Patricia LaMontagne and her husband, Roger, Joseph Cornacchio and his wife, Katy, James Cornacchio and his wife, Clare, Thomas Cornacchio and his wife, Susan, Neil Cornacchio, and Mary Cornacchio and her husband, Matthew Perakis, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A lifelong son of Salem, he was a dedicated employee of the Salem Power Plant for over 40 years, and was later an employee of the City of Salem itself. He was also an active volunteer. He enjoyed tending to Salem's public green spaces and served as chair of both the Salem Community Preservation Committee and the Salem Conservation Commission. Whether he was cooking to Frank Sinatra or sailing to Bob Marley, Kevin enjoyed any activity he could share with friends and family.

ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral will be held from O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 84 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) Salem, Thursday, August 19 ^th at 9 A.M. followed by his Funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, Hawthorne Blvd., Salem at 10 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. Visiting hours Wednesday, August 18 ^th from 4 to 8 P.M.
