SALEM - Linda J. Call, 69 of Salem, beloved wife of Lawrence M. Noel, passed away on Friday, August 18th, 2023 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of Helen (McNeill) Call of Salem and Clarence Call of Seabrook, NH. She was raised and educated in Salem and was a lifelong resident of the city.
Linda loved life and was full of life. She was dedicated to helping others as a Homecare Aide and a Teacher’s Aide at Bates School for several years. She was a loving companion, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt whose family always came first. Linda was very involved in her children’s activities, she provided a warm and loving home for her children, family and friends and was over the moon when her granddaughter Elizabeth was born. She was a skilled candy maker, especially chocolates, Linda was dunking strawberries long before it became popular. She made countless wedding favors; baby shower favors for family and friends. Linda was very outgoing with a great sense of humor that endeared her to many. She loved going to the casino, playing cards with family and was an avid Boston Sports fan, especially the Bruins. She will be forever remembered for her zest for life, her devotion to her family and finding her way into many hearts across the country. She will be deeply missed by all.
Surviving Linda, in addition to her beloved husband Larry and her parents, are her sons, Dana Roush and his wife, Kristin of Danvers, Carl Baccari of Salem and Michael Baccari and his partner, Emily Carson of Las Vegas, her granddaughter, Elizabeth Roush of Beverly, her siblings, Debra Dailey and her husband, Dennis of Mount Hope, KS, Brian Call and his wife, Kim of York, ME, her half-sisters, Jennifer AbouEzzi and her husband, Pierre of North Andover, and Pamela Henrichon and her husband, Chris of Seabrook, NH and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral which will be held from O’Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 84 Washington Square (at Salem Common) SALEM on Friday, August 25th, 2023 at 10 A.M. followed by her funeral Mass at Ste. Anne’s Church, Jefferson Ave., Salem at 11 A.M. Burial is private. Visiting hours Thursday, August 24th from 4 to 7 P.M.
