SALEM - Linda J. Call, 69 of Salem, beloved wife of Lawrence M. Noel, passed away on Friday, August 18th, 2023 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of Helen (McNeill) Call of Salem and Clarence Call of Seabrook, NH. She was raised and educated in Salem and was a lifelong resident of the city.

Linda loved life and was full of life. She was dedicated to helping others as a Homecare Aide and a Teacher’s Aide at Bates School for several years. She was a skilled candy maker, especially chocolates, Linda was dunking strawberries long before it became popular. She made countless wedding favors; baby shower favors for family and friends. Linda was very outgoing with a great sense of humor that endeared her to many. She loved going to the casino, playing cards with family and was an avid Boston Sports fan, especially the Bruins. She will be forever remembered for her zest for life, her devotion to her family and finding her way into many hearts across the country. She will be deeply missed by all.
