SALEM - Mrs. Linda L. (Mason) LaBonte 71, of Salem, formerly of Peabody, beloved wife of the late Norman George LaBonte, died Monday, November 20, 2017 at Grosvenor Park Nursing Home in Salem. Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Mary (Galvin) Mason. She was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody High School. She continued her education at Essex Agricultural School. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Linda enjoyed spending her time with family and friends. She and her late husband were avid boaters and loved time spent on the ocean. She was dedicated to her family and will be deeply missed. Linda is survived by her son, William A. Summit Jr and his companion Kimberly Hodge of Peabody, her daughter Jennifer Condon and her companion Michael Bliss of Barnstead, N.H., her five grandchildren, Cassandra Lipson, Spencer Summit, Jacob Hodge-Summit and Chase and Brandon Bliss, her siblings, Gail Nelson of N.H. and Ronald Mason of N.H. and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Kathy Britner, Thomas Mason and Margaret Smalios.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral will be held in St. Adelaide's Church, 708 Lowell St., Peabody, Tuesday, Nov. 28th at 11:30 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours in the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (rte 62) Danvers, Tuesday, Nov. 28th from 9 to 11 A.M. prior to her funeral Mass. Burial in Oakdale Cemetery, Middleton.
