PEABODY – La Sra. Luisa Maria Pacheco, de 85 años de Peabody, amada esposa de Rafael Saint Hilaire, falleció en paz el miércoles 21 de septiembre de 2022 en Hospital de Beverly con su devota familia a su lado.
Nacida en Loma de Cabrera, República Dominicana, Luisa era hija del difunto Juan Pacheco y María Silvana Díaz. Se crió y educó en Santo Domingo y en 1994 se mudó a los Estados Unidos, estableciéndose en Lowell, Massachusetts. En 2001, Luisa y su familia se mudaron a Peabody, haciendo de North Shore su hogar permanente donde hizo muchos amigos y recuerdos para toda la vida.
Luisa, una costurera extremadamente talentosa, dedicó su carrera profesional a la confección de ropa de diseñador y de alta gama. Luisa, una carrera que apreciaba, era muy respetada por su atención al detalle y se la solicitaba a menudo para aquellos que buscaban una sastrería especial.
Profundamente dedicada a su fe, Luisa era un miembro fiel de la Iglesia San Juan Bautista de Peabody . En la conformidad de su casa resaba diario. Era una gran jugadora de bingo y disfrutaba jugar cartas con sus amigos. A lo largo de su vida disfrutó viajar a diferentes lugares y visitar a su familia en la República Dominicana. Además de su esposo Rafael con quien compartió 45 años de matrimonio, a Luisa le sobreviven hijos que crió como propios, Melvin Rafael Saint Hilaire y Jany Rafaela Saint Hilaire ambos de República Dominicana y Yudelka A. Diaz de Peabody; sus hermanos, José A. Díaz, Quisqueya Pacheco, Gilda García, Emenegildo Pacheco, Elio Pacheco y muchas sobrinas y sobrinos, familiares y amigos. Luisa era hermana de la fallecida Juana Pacheco, María Diroche, Miguel, Agustina y Miriam Pacheco.
ARREGLOS: Los familiares y amigos están invitados a asistir a la Misa del funeral de Luisa que se llevará a cabo en la Iglesia St. John the Baptist, 18 Chestnut St., Peabody el lunes 26 de septiembre a las 11 a.m. El entierro es privado. PEABODY – Mrs. Luisa Maria Pacheco, 85 of Peabody, loving wife of Rafael Saint Hilaire, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Beverly Hospital with her devoted family by her side.
Born in Loma de Cabrera, Dominican Republic, Luisa was the daughter of the late Juan Pacheco and Maria Silvana Diaz. She was raised and educated in Santo Domingo and in 1994, she relocated to the United States, settling in Lowell, Massachusetts. In 2001, Luisa and her family moved to Peabody, making the North Shore her permanent home where she made many lifelong friends and memories.
An extremely talented seamstress, Luisa devoted her professional career to tailoring designer and high-end clothing. A career she cherished, Luisa was highly respected for her attention to detail and was requested often for those in seek of special tailoring.
Deeply devoted to her faith, Luisa was a faithful member of St. John the Baptist Church in Peabody where she prayed daily. She was an avid and very serious Bingo player and enjoyed playing cards with friends. Throughout life, she enjoyed traveling to different places and visiting family in the Dominican Republic. Above all else, Luisa had an extremely caring and giving heart. She was loving, charitable and humble and was a natural caretaker to everyone she loved. She will be deeply missed.
In addition to her husband Rafael with whom she shared 45 years of marriage, Luisa is survived by children she raised as her own, Melvin Rafael Saint Hilaire and Jany Rafaela Saint Hilaire both of Dominican Republic and Yudelka A. Diaz of Peabody; her siblings, Jose A. Diaz, Quisqueya Pacheco, Gilda Garcia, Emenegildo Pacheco and Elio Pacheco and many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Luisa was the sister of the late Juana Pacheco, Maria Diroche, Miguel, Agustina and Miriam Pacheco.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to attend Luisa’s funeral Mass which will be held at St. John the Baptist Church, 18 Chestnut St., Peabody on Monday, September 26th at 11 A.M. Burial is private. Visiting hours will be held at O’Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 84 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) SALEM on Sunday, September 25th from 2 to 5 P.M.
