MIDDLETON - Mrs. Margaret E. (Haynes) Daniels 78, passed peacefully, Monday, April 19th, 2021 at her home.
Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Forrest and Lucille (Lagasse) Haynes. She was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of the former Holten High School in Danvers. She continued her education earning her Associates Degree in Science.
For a large portion of her life, Mrs. Daniels was a devoted homemaker and caregiver to her beloved children. Later in life she was the proprietor of a Vending Machine Business as well as working for 20 years at Analogic as an Electronic Technician, until the time of her retirement.
A loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Margaret was happiest when surrounded by her family. Talented artistically, she enjoyed spending her time sewing, knitting and cake decorating. She had a passion for carpentry and woodworking and took great pride that she designed and built her own kitchen. She was an avid gardener and truly had a green thumb.
There was no challenge too big for Margaret. She took on everything in her life with steadfast resolve. She was always very supportive of her family.
Margaret is survived by her children, James Daniels and his wife Lorri of Danville, NH, Kevin Daniels and his wife Dawn of Winterville, NC, Laurie Vantine and her husband Peter of Middleton, and Heather Russell and her husband Andrew of Brisbane, Australia, her 10 grandchildren, her 3 great grandchildren, her sister, Claire Purdy of Annapolis, MD, her brothers, Kenneth Haynes and his wife Ellen of Georgetown, and Robert Haynes and his wife Sheila of Byfield, and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service will be held in the Peterson-O’Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (rte 62) Danvers, Saturday, April 24th at 10 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. All attendees are required to wear face coverings, practice social distancing and are respectfully asked for no physical contact with the family. Burial in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers.
