Margaret Hunt Obituary

PEABODY - Margaret A. Hunt was born January 5, 1933 in Rangeley Maine. She was one of 5 children of Virgil Owen Lamb and Ruth Evangeline Hinkley, [Louise, Raymond, Barbara, and Richard] passed away peacefully in her home in Danvers, Mass. Margaret accomplished many things in her Life. She graduated Mass General Hospital as an RN in in 1955, went on to be in Charge of Personal at Newton Saving Bank where she graduated from Brown University in RI. She then graduated from University of Mass, Management Degree program. When she left the banking she worked at Grace Chapel in Lexington in their Missions department, where she met Joseph Hunt and married in 1973. She is survived by her Sister Louise Falt, step children Theodore Hunt and Dorian Pelrine, Grandmother to David Hunt, Tara Ahern, Laura Woodward, Jill Daigle, and niece Margaret Therrien (known as Marti) and her children Brooklyn and Bryce. And her best friend and companion Malcolm Pearson survives her.

ARRANGEMENTS: Margaret will be buried at a private graveside service in Lexington, MA. Assisting the family with the arrangements is the Peterson-O’Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (rte. 62) Danvers. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The Brooksby Benevolent Fund at 100 Brooksby Village Drive Peabody, MA.
