DANVERS- Mrs. Margaret (DerManoogian) Mooradian, 94, of Danvers, beloved wife of the late Aram Mooradian, passed away on Tuesday December 29, 2020 at Beverly Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Nashua NH, she was the daughter of the late Kirkor and Yegsa (Sahagian) Mooradian. She was raised and educated in Nashua and was a graduate of Nashua High School.
Mrs. Mooradian had been employed as an accounting clerk for Jordan Marsh Department Store for many years prior to her retirement in 1987.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Margaret believed family was paramount. She provided a warm and loving home for her family and was happiest when surrounded by them. She was kind, caring and generous with her time and love.
Margaret had a keen sense of style and kept up with the latest trends even into her 90’s. Always active both physically and mentally she enjoyed a good round of golf, winning a nine-hole championship at Wenham Golf Club, travelling, was an avid reader and enjoyed a challenging crossword puzzle. She was also known for her cooking talents, especially when it came to Armenian recipes. Margaret will be fondly remembered for her love of family, style and grace and deeply missed by her family and friends.
Surviving Margaret is her son, Vee Mooradian of Danvers, her grandson, Brett Duncan and his wife Sarah of Hubbardston, her great-grandchildren, Bria and Erik Duncan of Hubbardston, her sister, Anne Derr of Newburyport, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was also the mother of the late Joyce Duncan.
ARRANGEMENTS: All services are private at this time. A celebration of life will be held and announced at a later date. Assisting the family with the arrangements is O’Donnell-Cremations-Funerals-Celebrations, 167 Maple St., (Rte. 62) Danvers.
